It's a rental and I'm working on getting the right systems and team members in place.

I have a mentor the main thing is to have a team put together: contractors, managers, handymen, agents....that's key!

I understand that you don't want to cycle your team only to have the deal fall through.  

Does anyone have any tips, techniques or experiences they would like to share on how a new real estate investor that is trying to get in the game should go about obtaining and mentor and establishing a team

I am a quick fast learner and can be part of any team or partnership.

If you can write up the contract without the contingency of the sale of your first property it will make your offer stronger.

The meetup is a great place to connect with investors and other real estate professionals to build your team.

The first couple of things you have to do is to set up your company as a corporation of some type to protect you personally and find/get a local Team put together that will return your phone calls.  

So I am fairly new to Real Estate Investing just got started about 2 months ago have my LLC and team in place and growing.

I have done very aggressive marketing over the years and the discounts do get them in the door but do not keep them in the building if you don't have the right team.
