In other words, don't think you're beating the system by renting the property to your son-in-law's LLC.Another minor consideration is that there are costs associated with set-up and maintenance of your SDIRA.

I suspect no one will ever check that you are a student but for that price you might as well be a student in case they check.By the way my son in living out of his car at UCSB.  

Have you requested the police report and is the son a resident at the property? 

We don’t want to be slumlords just trying to retire early and build some generational wealth for our son.

My name is Dawn and I seriously got back into real estate investing about a year ago when I decided I want to spend more time with my son, and real estate was the way to do that.

Very tired but cant sleep do to wanting to crawl out of skin, no longer can drive with no family neighbors pitch in to help with son groceries and meals. before moving in we came to the home questioned downstairs bedroom/office (work from Home) not anymore since this all started.

He also told me his sons work for him and he just bought one of them a new house from chase bank and showed off pictures of the work he did at the house for them 

I’d like to build a bathroom in that space and convert the family room into a JADU, adding a kitchen to the space for my son and his wifeThat being said, my question is:Can a JADU be connected to the main house through a Jack and Jill type bathroom, with no other access to the main house?
