I’m relocating from NYC to Dallas for work and since I got lucky on my first property I want to actually do my due diligence visiting neighborhoods, seeing properties in person (not FaceTime) before investing in another.

How have you been marketing the space, my first step with any listing is usually making sure the neighborhood knows about the availability, its usually a good bet that there is a business within 2 miles that needs to expand/retract or otherwise relocate for a variety of reasons but needs to be in the same geographical area. 

Not sure how many of those relocated from FL, but in most corporate moves it seems like about maybe 1/2 the staff or maybe less moves and maybe 1/2 of those lease the first year.   

Relocating would be a huge change and we don't take the decision lightly.
