I currently have no real savings outside of my company's 401(K) and only a small amount of liquid stocks and cryptocurrency that I could sell.One of the private equity firms founders suggested flipping a couple multi-family or single-family homes in order to pay off my debts and build a war chest to be used as a down payment on a rental property (I thought this sounds like a good idea). 

How would one know or find out if the firm, person, Broker, or Entity is guiding you correctly?   

We are starting to learn the neighborhoods there.

I am an agent I work specifically with investors in selling off market properties and my firm is about to open our third office in GA in the south Atlanta area.

I would prefer to have someone who actively manage in the Five Points neighborhood as I am looking for someone who's familiar with that area.
