Renovated for another 60 over 3 yrs .

I've bought 2 homes, the current one me and my wife live in and one when I was around 26 yrs old which I sold a year later a net 17k.

For context, we are considering acquiring a lot in Steamboat Springs and building over the course of 3-5 yrs, but I don't know enough to assess whether a lot purchase now is a good buy without having the end game determined.  

Seller tells me they are trying to convince the bank to work with us (house was on the market for a while, and needs a lot of work ~150k easily). original bid was for 800k, and since the listing was removed, I've told the seller we could get to 875k if that helps them at all.. but, no way to know if they have conveyed this to the lender. neighboring houses generally in 1.1mm - 1.4mm range, so it makes sense for us (we plan to live there for 20+yrs), but not for the average person looking in this price range (nobody wants this kind of project).

I don't currently have an accountant; I have been a devoted Turbo Tax user for over 15 yrs.

Just wanted to share that we are closing this Friday on our 2nd investment property. First building has given us a 45% profit increase, after doing a lil bit of renovations and the second building since it's new const...

I have been investing in buy and hold SF rentals in the DFW market for 5 yrs now.

My background is mainly in the healthcare industry (10+ yrs) and helping others in any fashion that I can.

I have been investing for almost three yrs and mainly fix and flip with two rentals now.

Honestly my goal at first is to own at least 2 rental properties preferably town homes it might one day be a good backup when the kids grow in next 20 yrs or so.
