Hi Everyone,

I'm a 53 yr old married man, I'm almost ready to retire so I'm looking for ways to supplement my income when I do so. I've bought 2 homes, the current one me and my wife live in and one when I was around 26 yrs old which I sold a year later a net 17k. I we have an investment property that involves my mother in law, something like a reverse mortgage. There's 500k equity on the house.

My research leads me to REO's because it doesn't involve being at auctions and or calling a lot of owners, my current job is 55+ hrs so I don't have a lot of time to do those things. I will have contractors do the work but will manage though constant communication with the contractor.

I haven't put an off yet because I'm still researching the different aspects of the process.
