I’m a Junior in college and starting to plan out my first real estate goal, a house hack (most likely a duplex) in northern San Antonio, TX.

I'd guess rents went up because I paid more every year to rent similar houses during college.

The renters, all young college students, rented a 5 bedroom back house. 2 short weeks into a 12 month agreement, they decide to move out.

So I maybe had $11000 into that cold box.I changed it out for another brand that sort of fit but the dog didn't like to sleep near it as well, maybe the kids were in college, and less people opened the door to give her treats.

BW College is over there so there is ample opportunity for student housing.
