If rents are high compared to sales price, then you have to ask - why aren't these renters buying? 

Is this market accessible for the average investor in the UK, or is it exclusively banks and hedge funds who buy/sell these sorts of instruments?

When I first went through the course I established my buy box based and followed his underwriting techniques.

If you chat with them and figure out what deals are generally eligible for them, then you can target your buy box.

According to the zoning office, no request for duplex has been made thus far.

Getting to an asset manager to buy a note is not impossible, but definitely not easy either.
