Hello all, With the summer and upcoming holidays, many of us travel out side our neighborhoods for many reasons. i wanted to ask, what do you as an investor look for as far as properties and neighborhoods.

My family and I travel to the White Mountains for vacation almost annually, it's our go to spot in the Northeast.  

I would go on flyertalk or those travel blog sites.

North side of East Point has some nice neighborhoods as you travel south it gets spottier.

Although not doable traveling to Baton Rouge is not my favorite option so boots on the ground there could create an effective team to make stuff happen.

My guess and hope is that bookings will stay steady and most guests are business travelers or visiting a friend or family in Big D.

BP podcasts have filled much of our time traveling to Waco on weekends as we currently work on a Reno there.

Jake S. go the owner finance route get on craigslist and email every homeowner in your area that you might want to live in and ask will they  finance, all they can say is no everyone heads to the bank first, take the path less traveled good luck

I live in Pleasant Hill but have no problem traveling a little ways.
