I've been helping a couple with their duplex remodel down on Fremont Ave.

What general remodel things should we think about doing that would also add value?

Both affiliated companies specialize in investor deals so those companies would be great resources for acquisition/re-sale and renovation/remodeling for investors seeking those services.

I am currently looking to buy a home for myself to live in for two years while remodeling it.

I have a 50y/o house that we have been living in, 3+ years ago we had the kitchen remodeled including the floors in our living room, one of the primary issues we have before the remodel was the hard wood squeaks in some areas so we decided to have it fixed and also to put in wood look porcelain tiles.

Removed debris and overgrowth on property, new siding, windows, exterior doors, total gut of interior including removing walls and re-engineering structure to support roof trusses and ceiling joists, rebuilt staircase to accommodate new kitchen design, replaced entire block foundation wall that was heaving inward, replaced sewer drains in entire home including underground, drain tiled, and rebuilt both bathrooms and prepared current garage to be remodeled to become master bedroom and bath suite.

However, will need some cosmetic remodel around the whole house and the house will not go through financing in its current state.

Remodeled: upstairs unit with new appliances, paint, complete bathroom remodel, fixed plumbing, refinished flooring.
