After all, are we landlords really the benevolent people you describe as "providing housing," as if we consciously prioritize the service over the profit?

But, I can't find an actual customer service person.  

Or is it a non-issue that I shouldn't be concerned about?

Is there a low-cost service out there that the tenants can go to and print their own report so that they don't keep getting charged by multiple landlords when they are applying for several places?

That will let you know your monthly payment and renting these out will cover your debt service.  

You'll find someone who will portfolio it (sometimes they call it non saleable even though they sometimes sell it anyway).
