If your sensibilities demand a luxury (meaning anything over $40K) car less than 4-years-old with all the bells and whistles, you probably think $1M (or $150K/yr) is just barely escaping poverty.If you send your kids to public schools and in-state universities, you might be satisfied with $1M.
