I am new to Bigger Pockets but have been a Real Estate professional in the North Alabama area since 2009.In November 2014 I started my owner real estate brokerage offering discounted seller commission and technology driven marketing.

Its been out there for weeks and is clearly visible when you are walking up to the front door of our house next door.I talked to the neighbor across the street today and he wants me to buy this house next.  

I'm just north of you, in Jackson.

Even checking Craigslist the average rents are $900-$1,300.With the current rental income is does not meet the 1% nor the 50% rule.

Communication is a two-way street.  

My closest neighbor is at least over and acre from this area, and across a street, and would not be affeted at all. 

Travel there, walk/drive the streets, get to know the prices of each neighborhood, and most importantly, talk to as many people as you can.

I can see google street views dating 2009 the fence was existing.

Though studying and learning are great, the best and most usable knowledge comes from pounding the street, talking to others, listening to their successes and failures, and not being afraid to DO it!
