You have to know what questions to ask, and you should reciprocate the relationship with your agent (or attorney, inspector, etc) by establishing yourself as a loyal client and performer with them.Nothing is better than if you have your entire team working for the benefit of everyone else.

I had the inspector do a walk-through with me prior to purchasing so I pretty much knew already what to expect; however, today was the official inspection so he obviously got to study the extent of the issues he had previously found.

If this is not the case you're likely to have to advance the first part of the construction costs and get reimbursed after they send their inspectors out to verify things are done.Budgeting for the EXACT amount of equity required is often pretty tough and we struggle with this on all of our joint ventures.

The only thing we are waiting on at this point is the take care of a few things the inspector wanted done when we closed in the carport as a 4th bedroom but that should be done early next week.
