Newbie in Dallas (Sachse)
Hello all!
I am a wanna-be investor...as I have yet to have the right deal come across yet. This decision to start investing has been a few years in the making. God/life has a way of taking you on certain paths other than the ones you want to take.
I have been putting this intro off for about 2 weeks. Since then, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the forum and listing to the podcasts. This is truly an amazing site! I procrastinated simply because I don't want to be another newbie to the site. But, there's no way around it. If I want to chime in, then, Hello all, I'm a newbie.
A little about my experience;
Professional Real Estate Inspector, 10147
Draw Inspector, performed over 5,000
GC'd a previous personal 2,500 sq ft house
9 years with Simpson Strong-Tie (hurricane clips, joist hangers...)
BA in Marketing
I also do r.e. photography for a company called Shoot2sell (.net).
I am married to my high school sweet heart...well, she was in middle school and I was in high school.
Two children, Logan is 8 & Ella is 4. My wife stays home with them.
I look forward to networking with the local guys and picking the brains of others across the states.
I will be working on flips and rentals asap.
