Most likely the state where the property is located is where lawsuits would be brought if they are something for personal injury like a trip and fall or something of that nature because the “cause of action” arose in that state.

Demand has decreased for sure since early 2022, but we personally stay pretty booked, since our house offers three different sized units--a 4/2, which we book out for the big events like graduations and football weekends, the 3/1 side, which is great for small families and couples as well as groups traveling to town for work, and then the 1/1, which we only open up on weeknights between other reservations, and it usually books with a traveling nurse or someone coming to town for an interview or short work trip.

In my trips around Metro detroit there appears to be TONNES of vacant shovel ready lots.. you sure it would not be better to seek those out..

If the drain was left clogged AND the disposer jammed/reset tripped, then charge them the cost of clearing the line and disposer. 

That makes me want to take a trip out there.  

After some online research, I learned that they ultimately try to get you to purchase a $50,000 bus trip to experience the real estate education.    

Also, you may want to look into trip insurance with your insurance provider for the move during transport.

We have systems in place as well so that there's not any last minute surprises and avoid last minute trips to the property.Replacing something that broke is  great idea though!

I highly recommend taking a trip down here and driving the neighborhoods you are interested in because they vary greatly! 

I even had one want to rebook my unit since he canceled a trip to Japan but I did not have dates open he wanted to book.
