Free Mobile home - just needs to move

Just got a lead on a mobile home that needs to move and is being offered for free. A local park provides a $2k concession which should cover most of the move. Not sure yet as to what the repairs are but they look minimal. The park does allow renters (a golden nugget) and I anticipate doing that or doing a lease/option for the mobile.

I have no information on the deal yet but hopefully the property isn't gone already and I get to see it tonight.

My concern is finding the company to move the mobile. Do I simply search for mobile home movers, or is there a specific trade business for that? I look forward to hopefully following up with good news on this.

The park should have some referrals for you. Get some estimates and try to look into their track record. It's best to work with those who have had success with other companies. Companies that already work in and for the park have been some of my best referrals. Also, you may want to look into trip insurance with your insurance provider for the move during transport. Hope that helps!
