Is PRO membership just as good for Canadians?
25 November 2016 | 8 replies
@Presh DineshkumarMost of the Plus and Pro membership "perks" are very U.S.A. focussed - even the on-line calculators - and have less practical value to Canadians ... even those unfortunate enough to be stuck in the GTA ;-)Some Plus/Pro features .. such as the search members by zip or postal code now work (sort of) for Canadians (polite nagging can pay off ).If you are a flipper, or offer a real estate related service (architect, trade, etc), then the ability to post advertisements to the Real Estate Marketplace is a benefit.I upgraded to a Pro membership early on to support the site and its growth as I found it to be a credible venue for exchanging knowledge and making contacts with respect to real estate.

3) Would you say basic relatively cheap and quick projects listed above give your listing an extra edge on the market and fetch a higher price.4) Would you recommend a established reliable service like this to your future clients. 5) Do you use a third party to take profession pictures or even UAV (drone) images/Videos of houses/properties you are selling.I am a General Contractor.

Any success with the Marketplace forum?!
30 September 2016 | 4 replies
One of the main reasons I have upgraded to an paying member of BP was because of the marketplace, and since the upgrade I have posted 3 property I had for sale here in Toledo, Ohio... (1) A multi unit that I sold through social media marketing (2) A SFH in a B- class working neighborhood that I told my mentor about whom ended up buying it(3) A Large 5bed 5bath home in the Historic Old West End (an A class neighborhood) that I have yet to sell but a local couple (that again seen it on another site) whom is pre approved plans to put it under contract after they learn more about the FHA 203k loan process. Now with other marketing sites I got a email or a call on each of these listings from investors EVERYDAY but I have yet to have any serious inquires about any of the 3 listing besides a few other noses/curios local investors that just wanted to check out the new competition in town lol.

Speaking of electrical, I had about 6 service calls on a rental about the electric heat and AC ... they messed with the unit all kinds of ways but never fixed it.
