I have two options for my first house and am struggling on which one would be the better way to begin my investing.
Option 1
Use the VA loan, but I have to wait till July cause the underwriters want to...

I don’t know much about leveraging the stock market but I’d stop doing it and invest in a more balanced type of funds sooner rather than later.

I'm here because I began listening to BP last week, I'm listening to about an episode or more per day and I think I would learn more and start my career in real estate sooner by doing an actual project rather than just let my money sit and grow slowly... which don't get me wrong is awesome but I'm not learning much!

And your head is in the right place: HVAC, appliances, bad tenants all cost money and sometimes sooner than you expect.  

Maybe sooner!

If you definitely have enough equity and want to refi sooner, shop around.

No debt or any payment.My goal is to be able to build a 200k net cashflow in 5-10 years, obviously sooner the better.I have a decent amount saved and is thinking if I should free up more cash by either selling the condo or refi and take around 400k out (interest rate is around 4.5% last I checked) for 30-year fixed.Any advice or ideas on strategy to achieve the goal of building 200k in passive income?

While I had been working with investors to help them buy and sell homes for years, My wife and I also made the decision about 18 months ago that buying some investment properties would be a great opportunity to secure our financial future and help us get to our freedom number and "retirement" sooner rather than later!
