David, the answer depends greatly upon the type of contractor you use and how good of a relationship you have as well as how good of a performer the conbtractor is.For instance, if you hire a GC who in turn hires all the subs to comnplete the entire rehab, you should not have to be on the job site all day, everyday, but u should check in at the end of each day to check on teh job site.If you are acting as the GC, then you are responsible for hiring each sub and making sure they get the job done right and on time, as such, you (or a hired project manager) will need to be there at least twice daily (but not all day long).Hiring project managers and or GC's will increase your costs, however, if they can be trusted, you save your own time (which is money).

They are hoping when the bills pass and signed that it makes the expired laws retroactive.So for instance if a law provision expired in 2013 when they do pass it say the end of 2014 they can back date from the 2013 date of effectiveness.
