Lately very interested in self storage.would really love to connect with someone who has established a scaled portfolio and is willing to help out a “newbie” learn and grow.

My suggestion would be that you find the time to personally visit and learn about any of the investment areas that you are considering.

I’m mainly asking to learn the industry standard so that I am more prepared for my next deal.

However, I would like to learn from your experience.  

New to BP, excited to interact with the BP community and learn as much as I can throughout my real estate investment journey! 

Any advice or even critique on my strategy is welcome as I’m definitely still learning a ton every day. 

And I learned some stuff myself, and went from there.

One thing I’ve learned from my time in real estate is that it’s all about the relationships.

I also know that Airdna is a great tool to search for markets; however, as someone new to real estate, evaluating and choosing between different markets is a lot to take in; I tend to get analysis paralysis when presented with loads of stats that I haven't quite yet learned how to analyze effectively.I should also mention that my idea is to buy some land and build an A-frame cabin.
