While you can reduce your CapEx as your still only saving for one roof, keep in mind you have multiple appliances, heating/cooling units, etc.

For me, I like that I don't have to worry about a roof (one two units under each roof in this development), siding, shoveling, mowing etc.Also it kept my rehab costs down bc I only had to worry about the inside.
