Some people choose to:[1] Pay by draws with lien releases at set points, such as completion of demolition, installation of X, etc....; and[2] If time is of the essence, add penalties for late.All areas are have different laws about these things--know you laws and use them to your advantage.What works in Kansas City might not be legal in Tallahassee.Good Luck!
