although i get around a fair bit. through out the US.. and even though i live there and work there i have to say the Portland OR metro probably has the greatest amount of A B in the country.. then C  and very little to no D.. there are some not so great areas.. but there is no HOOD like you see in so many other areas..

I would add places like Publix, Starbucks, Panera Bread to your A/B bucket. 

If they didn't have this power, some people might simply decide to not pay their taxes.I assure you, they are hoping that someone will bid at least $1 above their opening bid (which is the amount of back taxes and fee's).  

The duplex market in Columbus, OH is very competitive in A,B,C locations, but theres always opportunity at various rates of return.
