Recently I decided to chase the idea that's lurking in my mind of investing in RE. 

I want to have a few properties in mind to look into before driving down there.

Looking to connect with other investors and like-minded individuals and grow my own network around NS as I look to get into RE Investing!

These work with the working-class in mind, but they don't seem to be as effective in markets above 150k.

If I can force appreciation with little effort, money, or risk (things like sub metering or raising under market rents to market), I don't mind paying for some of it.  

Surround yourself with like minded people.

It blew my mind and I became obsessed with the idea of buying notes.

Unless of course you are not risk adverse and saving a few thousand is more important than having more peace of mind.

I have used services like Cozy.co in the past to collect rent - but not sure about the application fee.I know that plenty of services will do the screenings for you, but I don't mind (and actually prefer) to be the one who vets each applicant. 

They all end up dead, and Guy from the Future that stumbles upon the last one wonders why the last guy thought a gold bar was worth a drink of water, since scientists had figured out how to create it from nothing, making it worthless.
