Plus they seem hard to sell further down the line because they have such a small buyer pool.Finding a good local property manager could be a solution, but I wouldn't know where to start with that. 

We even spoke with local realtors and would appreciate basic or general advice on what we can do.

If you want to trade your money for time by hiring a PM, I recommend going with a local PM who knows the market well. 

Talk with a local lender and agent for some more advice around your local market as well.

If not, check with a bank or credit union that is local to the property.
