I purchased a single family home in 2016 in the Sacramento with my VA loan, before purchasing our first home I did not know much about real estate and investing, I began reading real estate and investment books and found biggerpockets, I'd listen to the podcasts, watch every video they'd put out on YouTube and I read every book that biggerpockets had put out at the time.

Should I teach myself from books, podcasts, and videos?

I use excel to keep up with my properties, very powerful and customizable.

Excellent place for low income tenants--and they let me know as much. 

I am just getting into Real Estate and I am currently in the "knowledge" state: reading books, listening to podcasts/videos etc. 

Video every incident like this.

Starting off, I would look at the bigger pockets youtube channel and check the video playlists for BRRR and the playlist for flipping. 

Brandon recently made a short YouTube video about what should someone do with 150k I think and it was very helpful but it's hard to find much content that is giving solid genuine advice without a sales pitch.
