Ended up donating the house to a college, who sold it as-is to a rehabber. 

I live here in Tucson as well, and recently graduated from the UofA with a business degree.

I currently am 19 years old, live in PA and in the last semester of getting my Associates degree in Business Administration.

Good for you to get a job analyzing RE since that's what you want to do (instead of becoming a $billionaire off your comp science degree!

The place I do my day job is in the midst of hiring many young college graduates at good rates of pay and the condo is within 15 minutes.  

Best colleges, hospitals, universities coupled with historical sites and tech boom will yield continued rise in values.  

Listen, a few people held back on you to some degree and that was the right way to do it.
