I do not have any recommendations in that area however I know that BP has just launched a "Find a Property Manger" tab in their Build Your Team Section.

The issue that you have, is that your guests experience will depent greatly based on the demographic that the motel building brings.I would pass and try to get a small multi-family building or see if you can buy the whole motel(to have more control).

I live in Michigan and looking to get involved in apartment buildings.

If it is im not even sure a city will allow you to get a building permit on someone elses land.

Is it as simple as: "most houses in the area sell/appraise for X, figure out how to build a house for X-20%" and there's your 20% immediate equity in a new build? 

I am new to the industry but am focused on long term goals and wanting to build a team of reputable individuals where we can all bring each other value and make some great money together. 

There is a duplex new build and their agent told me this.

Unfortunately, if it needs septic and there isn't enough room for a leach field, you won't be able to build a home on it.

Did they give you a roadmap or strategy document to follow?
