Do you mind sharing your experience with this? 

We are looking to buy a house of our own and she asked for some time to save, so in the meantime, I was going to take some of my extra savings from sharing rent to start investing on my own.However, from day one, living in the house has been a nightmare. 

But nowadays there are also Facebook Groups and this website which can help you connect with someone who might be willing to share some advice.Also share your goal with people you already know, maybe one of them will know your future mentor.

I was just unsure how to say what you and @Cassi Justiz said and didn’t want to let it take up space in my head.....I just shared with my husband last night that I’m still not convinced she’s ready to sell.
