Its just hard to get renters to live in Gentilly, and the cost of housing is too cheap for rentals to appeal to great tenants (you can buy a house there for about what it costs to rent).I think the area your talking about "New Marginy" and the 7th ward/St.

Sitting on a semi rural 4.5 acres, its very safe, quiet & it has a unique appeal to renters.
