You have plenty of time to trade into a new property if your prepared. 

I would start looking for Facebook groups dedicated to the topic and go even further and look for local groups in the cities in which you are interested in and join them for discussion.We have a few here in the Orlando area (central Florida Airbnb, Airbnb thought counsel, etc) there are swap groups for owners to trade housing.

You just need to make sure that you trade equal or up in value.

Actually plumbers and electricians are the only trades that I have never had issues with, I've had good one since the beginning.

My preferred course of action would be to get on the board and straighten out the issues myself.
