The refinancing was done at a title company where I got a Lender's Policy of Title Insurance. 

I have heard this be referred to as "bond for deed" here in Louisiana, but I'm not finding any information on how to set these up or who pays taxes & insurance, etc.

Don't really want to transfer ownership to other persons as that creates all sorts of other problems such as tax implications, insurance implications, legal issues etc.  

Call the utilities, get the taxes from the county and get an insurance quote.

It can be a bit of a pain, but I found this is just the best process.I have used Simplisafe, but the challenge is the project has to be far enough along to have power and internet so you have a stable conditions for the alarm system.

In addition, I’d like to get suggestions on home insurance agents/brokers.
