And I will have that MI for the duration of the loan, unless I can refi out to something else (which will also be challenging because I got in at such a low rate)So, there is definitely value in a 203k, but I would encourage you to look at some other creative solutions that might be out there as well!

If it is not a bridge loan you are referring to I am not sure they will do that. 

@John Lee I have an insurance agent that I can refer you to thats quotes are unrivable. 

@Thomas Hamm That shouldn't be an issue as long as your DTI is at 40% or less.  70% LTV before 6 months is also referred to as delayed financing.

My point is that once someone gets a negatice feeling about something in a house, when they're looking to purchase, they might not look for solutions, but rather go on to another house.They say that if a couple looks at a house, it's the woman that buys the house and it's the man that does the financing.
