Dave Greene mentions in his books he looks for local lenders then set ups bank accounts with those financial institutions, seems like it could get out of hand quickly, anyone doing that?

I would recommend any future investor do their best to get exposed to construction even if it's cleaning up a job site (for free or minimum wage) for a few hours each week.
