This is my first purchase and was trying to figure out via the building code (which of course is difficult to understand) before the zoning compliance cert was pulled.Will find out soon enough though!

Hi gang,I'm a Vegas Greenhorn (been here 2 weeks )and also a BP newbie but have been following the advice and tips for a couple of years now. 

I just decided to sign up for a home inspection certification course in Maryland.

@Rick Thompson Everyone's risk tolerance is different of course, but all things being equal, i always recommend that our clients stick with 20-25% down.

Do you have Amy tips for me to get started through books Courses etc.?

Which of course I understand but do people actually buy fire damaged properties, it seems like untouched territory especially in Hope Mills/Fayetteville where I’m from.

Now I realize he was a wholesaler but he was super paranoid.. he would not give me the address until we met and talked.. and he said he wanted to do business with what he called a friend so he wanted to meet for drinks ( Dutch of course LOL)  I told him I have plenty of friends don't need anymore and I don't want to have drinks with you.. if you don't want to give me the address then there is nothing more for us to talk about..

Of course there are industry specific differences but this is exactly what I have been doing for the last 7 or 8 years.

There's no science to it unfortunately and it depends on the neighborhood of course.
