I worked very hard the next couple of years to catch up my debts and be on time with all payments.

I reached out to them and received what is by far the lowest price back on the quote, but after reading a couple threads here about the claims process seeming to require lawsuits to get anywhere I am more worried about it. 

I say I can get a double out this because of the price point of purchase coupled with increased NOI and some other fixes in expenses.

I know tax lien investing is more of an advanced strategy so I went in only targeting a couple properties, but I wasnt even in the ballpark.

Mainly just looking to see if somebody else has bought a fixer upper and done the work themselves and if there was any profit selling it after living in it a couple years (to avoid capital gains) Thanks!

Hi Evan,There are a couple investor meetups happening on April 10 and April 17.

I would get a 10% couple for Lowes off ebay, then I could pickup their standard, in stock, double hung, half screen, dual pane windows for around $135 each.

It really depends on a couple things: price and getting a good team in place to purchase, rehab as necessary, and rent out.
