We never really noticed an increase in our PG&E bill but I'm sure the extra cost was there.

I can’t remember what it was exactly but there was something with the schedule E (where investment properties go) that caused me to switch.

I can buy E and O if I want it.. etc.

Anyone try this or his other e-book offerings out?

It’s attractive to us because a) we could move into it and rent the second unit of our house-hack multi, b) we could rent it for short or long term and be living next door to manage it, c) we could have a place for family some day if needed d) we could have control over the look and occupancy of the neighboring property, which is important since we are right in town, e) we could connect it to ours via creative landscaping and create a compound of sorts.

FEMA tends to reimburse governments but very V-E-R-Y late.

I wouldn't waste time e-mailing them, just find a way around their filter or use Zillow instead.
