Your Local REIA group would probably be your best bet.

I haven't run the math but I bet that would work.The downsides are the lack of parking and the fact that the other tenants and condo assoc. might object.

But, the problem is most likely price, unless there is some negative feature that can be overcome, but the safe bet is price.

I bet the rules are similar from state to state.

It is still an extremely good bet odds-wise, but I don't gamble, and $1M would make a very big impact in my life.  

If you are lucky enough to stop the bleeding, there might be other claims and/or repair expenses waiting for your checkbook.Your best bet might be to try to get it at the auction, if you really like this property.
