Changing agents?

I am at the end of the listing agreement with my current agent.  We have had a good amount of traffic, but only one offer.

However what happens if someone saw the property on this listing and makes an offer when we have re-listed with a different agent(and brokerage).

Most real estate listing contracts have what's called a "procuring cause" paragraph that says what happens in this case.  Normally its about six months protection to the first broker.  See the listing document and you'll likely find that you agreed to it.
