However when my agent contacted the owner for a viewing the owner says that he has two of the listed triplex for sale and that he wants to sell them together. 150k each and they are probably worth 175k each.So if this property works out it could be a great deal for me so my mind starts working on how i could buy them both.

I contacted a CPA and he said I would need to amend my forms from 2015 on since that's within the 3 year amendment period; he didn't mention anything about the missed depreciation prior to 2015.

My plan was always to retire when my passive income reached at least half of my W2 salary.Real estate has done well for me, BUTI have continued to increase my W2 salary each year.So I'm actually going backwards with regards to my retirement goal.And that is OK...
