Does anyone have any opinions on if something like this (as well as no emergency ladder to escape-although we ended up buying him one for our piece of mind) is grounds for breaking a lease?

Even though the numbers may look good on paper, it's practically not viable because getting people to work it will be difficult.Hope this helps, good luck either way brother.

Example would be elderly parents moving in below kids, brother/sister in law with kids moving into unit next door with family with kids of roughly the same age, etc.
