Hi I just purchased a property about a month ago newly remodeled and now I have water coming from outside into the garden apartment through base boards and it looked like they put tar down outside along wall to try and stop leaks but didn’t do a good job so now water is seeping in at first it was a little but since it’s been raining all day it’s becoming more and more flooded I don’t know what to do I tried calling my lawyer but I’m getting no answer was just needing some advice on what to do I’m so upset right now

And another big factor is what repairs/upgrades/remodel the property would need to be rentable at market rates and how much will that cost?

My kitchen is being remodeled in the unit i'm living in currently.

For example, if you buy a cheap place in a bad part of town with low rents, but then remodel it to the nicest place on the block, how much can you increase rent?  

We are currently looking for a contractor or subs that can complete an interior remodel on one of the vacant 1 bedroom 1 bath units that measures 412 sq ft.

Anyways, I plan to remodel their section of the house and move in family.

It's a turn-key recently remodeled 3/2, biking distance to downtown and CSUS.

This project was a complete remodel; adding over 1,000 square feet and modernizing the kitchen, bathrooms, and layout.

Not 100% remodeled with the latest and greatest, but all basically turn key.

I'm also learning the ins and outs of wholesaling.My resume is that I had my own residential remodeling business in Durham, NC for 12 years, and I've bought and sold multiple properties in my life at a profit.
