@Joe Gore thank you, I have done some research into owning property in Mexico and what I've found thus far is that on the interior you can own it just like a Mexican national; but on the shores, which is where this property is, it has to be held through a trust with a major bank as the trustee as a workaround for the restrictions that were in effect in the 90s.
