Hello BP!

I’ve been learning from BP for a couple of years. Now, I’m looking to get actively involved and grow my association with other members. Thank you to all who contribute. The knowledge shared on this site is invaluable.

About Me: 

I’m a full-time entrepreneur and part-time real estate investor. I’ve been working for myself for over 15 years and have become very familiar with both the challenges and rewards therein. My main expertise is in online marketing and ecommerce. I own two active businesses which run efficiently enough that I have a significant amount of time to dedicate to real estate.

Real Estate Experience:

Two deals to date. Both involved extensive remodels of single family homes. I acted as my own GC for both remodels so I have experience dealing with zoning, permitting, sub-contractors, architects engineers etc…. Both projects were successful and I’m looking to reinvest / re-leverage.

Recently graduated from the REDI foundation C-RED program which is an intensive six month mentorship focused on producing a real world deal for a mid to large scale ground up development. I learned a ton in this course including producing a 65 page feasibility study to construct a 27 unit apartment complex in El Cerrito. I’m not currently pursuing this development because I’ve not been able to attract an experienced investor partner and it’s too much risk for me to pursue on my own. 

Done extensive research into accessory dwelling units and created an investment model for the Oakland / Berkeley area which allows for significant forced appreciation and fast permitting / build times. 

Interested In:

Investing in my local area (which is San Francisco Bay Area - East Bay). But, I’m open to learning about how to invest remotely.

Flipping, buy and hold (if there’s an opportunity for forced appreciation through development) and ground up development.

Currently Seeking:

Partners to invest with and exchange information with.

High quality real estate groups in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I like your ambition ;) You should talk to @Chris Porto, @Juan Diaz, @Johnson H. Hong, or some other BP folks about your project. I might chat with you about it also. There is so much money out there looking for something to do. For your project, it's all about putting together a great team to manage the project, so you can comfortably accept investor money to get the project off the ground..

Definitely check out all the local meetup groups.. Johnson H will be hosting my meetup in SF tomorrow night.. There's also going to be a huge RE Summit in late August (check out my signature) with all the big BP posters, and lots of local investors.
