I've seen an few articles which say it is possible but nothing comprehensive.

I find that when I physically write something down it "sticks" more.

Do a lot of due diligence before you buy and physically look at at least 25-50 properties.

From my experience if there is a lot of interest for showing the property, but no one is signing that indicates that either the price is too high or there is a physical issue with the property that needs to be addressed.
