About 2 years ago, I remembered that a local news story about someone stealing walnut trees because apparently the wood is very expensive.I posted on a local buy/sell Facebook group and had about 5 people reach out to me.  3 of them did not work for any company, just wanted it. 

I know a lot of people have fears about becoming a landlord, but it really hasn't been my experience that the tenants have been too bad (knock on wood).

I use Favor cleaner by Johnson & Johnson for the floor in the apartment I am renting, cant tell if its vinyl or laminate but they have it in the bathroom and kitchen and I know its definately not wood and I dont think its floating either but the cleaner does a good job.

We are actually planning on selling this home (its in the woods) and buying/moving into a duplex (its in the city) to house hack.

Refinished the wood floors under old carpet.

@Woodly Tisme it’s not bad, not nearly as expensive as the Boston market of course, but our economy is also weaker than Boston.

Termite damage and wood rot are a definite thing down here. 

"install wood flooring throughout" could mean they install wood flooring, but don't finish it, or used engineered wood when you thought you were getting solid.

@Jess Wood Make sure you vet your operator real well and go visit the market as well as the property before committing to anything.
