The information came directly from a bank (not sure what the role of the banker was).I'm very skeptical, given the prominent use of "primary residence" all over the rules I've seen--though I can imagine some smaller banks that don't sell off their loans might be willing to allow it.Does anyone have any solid experience/evidence on one side or the other?

Like a large ship at sea though they require lots of time and sea room to turn and maneuver and when they sink it takes forever but you have absolutely no control over that sinking process.You lose some direct key benefits with REITs as well.

I was thinking of finding a fixer first and offering it to investors via direct mail (pitch is: investors buy off-MLS, the sellers pay me a minimal commission - so they net more, but I get the subsequent remodel listing from the investor. ) But, it would mean I have to lie to the seller, claiming I have an investor, when I don't.
