I’m just starting out and want to house hack through small multi families.

@Jason Babos As long as you plan to use a property management company and the numbers on the deal pencil, I don't think it's too much to handle for a first deal. 

I heard that short term loophole is a one time benefit that you get the year you start service.

Where will we start on pricing next year?

I'd be curious to review the company you want to use, I may be able to tell if they are using US building code or not.
