I'm sure the code relating to height and distance from any roof ridge is on the internet, I did two and took them about a foot/foot and a half above the level of the level ridge, draft was fine, but you can get the calculations.All that is is a box, nothing complicated to hide the flue pipe.

But this way, you're also not being overly pessimistic with your monthly cash flow analysis, which might make it impossible to find a deal that both works on paper and will stand a chance of being accepted in some markets.This is not to say that I wouldn't love to buy properties with strong positive cash flow projections while figuring total maintenance costs at 20% of rent (plus 10% vacancy and 10% prop management), but I just wonder if that's not setting the bar a bit too high in some markets, especially for us noobs who are presumably starting with MLS properties.

That would require a sheet rocker to come in.If demolition was the only option certain area codes would look like abandoned strip minesI would think renting an apartment in a war zoneis different than selling a house to a buyer in a good part of town.

I'm sure once I hit that number I'll reevaluate and raise the bar again since 50 rentals still doesn't quite get me to the level of income I'd want to quit my other business.
